Since the 2012/2013 school year, our school has officially been a School of Learning Together (GL). In the special education team, each of them is assigned to a year team and the students with special needs are taught inclusively. The funding priorities include learning, emotional and social development, language and mental development.
Teaching and learning is designed in such a way that different learning requirements are taken into account. Individual support planning takes individual goals into account – if necessary at different speeds and with different learning steps.
The special pedagogues work together with regular school teachers on a learning process-related accompaniment that is individually adapted to the respective level.
A systematic funding plan is drawn up in funding conferences. The support measures are agreed in consultation with all the people involved in the learning and education process and are integrated into the lessons.
The special education counseling forms an important facet for solving current problems and questions and expands the pedagogical possibilities of action of the class teachers, parents, special pedagogues. In addition, cooperation with other regular schools and special schools (e.g. Schule am Hügel) takes place.
